Pssst. The weather is beautiful
What a difference from yesterday. What happened overnight?
Overnight my neighbor ripped his storm door off the front of
the house and put all his living room furniture on the front lawn.
Every light on in the house, spotlights all over. Hopefully, maybe
someone is coming today and they will put in new carpet or paint
or something. Why else would he take all the furniture and put it
on the front lawn? Some of it he put in the shed. We all watched
him lugging this couch, etc out the door last night. Maddie must
be rubbing her hands sore from all the changes.
So I've run out of ideas for dinner and looked up some new recipes
for chicken yesterday. One called for taco seasoning on boneless
cutlets, baked and then topped with salsa mixed with sour cream.
Well, it seems that Mike ate the salsa, so when I opened the cabinet
all I found was the jar of mild cheese. No problem. I mixed that
with the sour cream, added some chicken gravy and coated the
top of the cutlets, threw them in the oven and there wasn't one
piece of chicken left. Rather tasty I might add.
Off and running for the day. I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful
